Middle Start is committed to the academic success and healthy development of every middle-grades student. Middle Start envisions high-performing middle-grades schools characterized by challenging academic programs, support for all students, and social equity. Such schools collaborate with families, communities, and other organizations to deepen and sustain their improvements.
Mission
Middle Start promotes the academic success and healthy development of all middle-grades students by collaborating with other national and local organizations to provide professional development for educators, build school support networks, conduct research, and advocate for equitable middle-grades policies and practices.
