PSO team members and school principals’ participated in a site visit to a model school – Brooklyn Generation. Brooklyn Generation opened its doors on September 4, 2007 and is located in the South Shore High School campus, the school serves the communities of Canarsie, East Flatbush, Flatlands and other surrounding neighborhoods. Brooklyn Generation is said to be an innovative new school that has developed a model that greatly enhances the value of funding and prepares students for academic and social achievement.
