This two-day workshop with Lucy West is the beginning of a year-long professional development opportunity designed to help build the capacity of principals, APs, coaches, and teacher-leaders to provide support and tools and to strengthen academic rigor across a school. Participants begin to develop a common language and understanding of what academically rigorous curriculum, instruction and assessment looks like in practice and across different content areas. Participants leave with concrete strategies and tools to take back to their schools.This institute will be followed up with additional workshops, meetings, and a collaborative lesson-study.
